How to set your private name servers in Cpanel / WHM (VPS and Dedicated Servers)

First you must go to your domain register and create the name servers and point them to the IP addresses listed in your welcome email.

Then login to WHM using your root account

Click Basic cPanel/WHM Setup in the top left section named Server Configuration

Scroll to the section Primary Nameserver

Enter your name servers and then click Add an A entry for each name server.

Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
