FTP accounts for a specific folder

Hello sharks,

I've set up some FTP accounts for a specific folder on my site, but I can't figure out how to sign in to them. After trying numerous combinations, I discovered how to log in to a FTP account under my domain, such as my main account, but how do you log in under that folder?

For example, I've set up a FTP account, "username", for the folder I'll call "folder." I only want the so-called username to have access to that folder, and not the entire parent directory. How do i manage this? Any suggestions are welcome.

Login to your cpanel --> FTP Manager --> FTP Accounts --> Add FTP Account

Then configure it to use only the folder you want them to access. Then when they login they should use:

Host: yourdomain.com
Username: user@yourdomain.com
Password: thepassyoumadeabove
