What is ClamAV?

ClamAV is the provider for Virus Scanner using which you can scan your files and mails for virus. This tool is present in cPanel > Virus Scan section.

Does this program run automatically, scanning all email, or do I need to enter cPanel to "run" it?

What is the difference between ClamWin and the ClamAV windows version?
I have not tried either. The Clamwin web site says it has a manual scanner. Does the clamav?
