If your account on the remote server is using cpanel you can login to your cpanel account on the remote server then:
---> Select MySQL Databases
---> Under "Access Hosts" enter the IP address of the SharkSpace server you are on.
---> Modify your script configuration file to draw from the remote address. (You may have to contact your script creator for help with this setup)
If you are trying to access a database on a SharkSpace server from a remote account you will have to do whats listed above on your account at SharkSpace.
