FTP directory Help?

Hi:
How do I set up FTP so I can get to a different directory lower than the /public_htm/ dir
IE:
the /puplic_ftp/ or /mail/ or ?tmp/ , /trash/

in other words one level lower
also the ftp accounts that are automatically set up dont seen to work

OK I got the 1 main account to work. but where is the pass/login info for the
ftp@(XXXXX).com
anonymous@(XXXXX).com
accounts?

(XXXX) = domain name

We dont allow anonymous ftp. You can login to FTP using your main cpanel username and main cpanel password.

Check your FTP program. Usually they allow for configuring the remote startup directory.

If you're looking to add FTP to a specific directory, only, this can be done in the cPanel FTP section. Hope this helps. :)
