Cant create database in phpmyadmin

I cant create a database in phpmyadmin, it does work through cpanel and then show up in phpmyadmin. Am I doing something wrong here?

With cPanel the database needs to be first created in the cPanel control system and then edited in phpmyadmin. There is no way around this or it wouldnt show in cPanel.
