If you cannot FTP to one of our servers there maybe one or several of the following issues present. Please go through the following steps:

1) Make sure you are connected to the internet.

2) If you have a firewall on your computer make sure it is not blocking port 21. Try turning your firewall off and testing to see if FTP works. This is a very common issue. If you find out that your firewall is blocking port 21, please review your firewalls help guides on how to open up ports and add port 21 to the "ok" list.

3) Has your domain name resolved to our servers? If you just switched your DNS within the last 72 hours you cannot use your domain to connect to FTP. Please use the server IP address that you account is on in place of your domain name in your FTP program.
Example:
Domain: 737.2.2.1.1
Username: sharkspace
Password: sharkspace

If you aren't sure what your IP address is, log-in to your cPanel control panel and it will be listed on the top left. You can access cPanel by going to yourdomain.com/cpanel or the IP address will be listed in your welcome email.

5) Make sure you enter your username and password correctly. If you can access cpanel you will be able to access FTP with the same username and password.
