Domain transfer question

Hi Folks,

Just a quick question. Does it matter if I have register my domain with someone else and host with SharkSpace. Will the DNS propogation time differ, if I transfer my domain registration to Shakspace along with the hosting account ?

I should'nt think so. After all no one directly controls the DNS propogation. It happens by itself. Maybe some one else can give you a better answer

It does not matter with whom you register your domain. The DNS propogation time works independent of the registrar.

But it is a good idea to club your hosting and registration together just to keep the service convenient for the providers.

That is true, but be careful if you do not trust your provider. I have seen horror stories of some hosting companies stealing domains.
